Rules and Regulations 參賽規則

  1. Applicants are advised to be aware of the best practice and case-based experience as promulgated by the Office of Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
  2. Applicants are reminded that any person who, without the permission of Steering Committee of Hong Kong ICT Awards, offers an advantage to parties involved in the Awards as a reward or inducement for doing any act or showing favour in relation to the Awards commits an offence of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap. 201).
  3. To avoid conflicts of interest and the perception as such, applications for the Awards from sponsors will not be accepted.
  4. In case of any dispute, the decision of the organiser will be final and binding on all parties concerned.

Stream I: Primary Schools

It is opened for full time Hong Kong primary school students (P.1 – P.6, academic year from 2017-2018). Each individual applicant requires the support of signature from the teacher-in-charge of ICT or school principal of primary schools, training schools or other educational institutions. The projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students.

Stream II: Secondary (Junior) Schools

It is opened for full time Hong Kong secondary school students (F.1 – F.3, academic year from 2017-2018). Each individual applicant requires the support of signature from the teacher-in-charge of ICT or school principal of secondary schools, training schools or other educational institutions. The projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students.

 

Stream III: Secondary (Senior) Schools

It is opened for full time Hong Kong secondary school students (F.4- F.6, academic year from 2017-2018). Each individual applicant requires the support of signature from the teacher-in-charge of ICT or school principal of secondary schools, training schools or other educational institutions. The projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students.

 

Stream IV: Tertiary or above

The projects should be conducted by local registered tertiary institution students (Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor, Master and PhD), including the applicants who are graduates in the academic year 2017-2018. The projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students. The submitted projects MUST be 100% developed and supervised, from start to end, under the tertiary institutes in Hong Kong. The project must be supervised by at least one staff of tertiary institution in the course of its development.

  1. 參賽單位需留意由私隱專員公署所制訂的最佳行事方式指引及個案經驗。
  2. 參賽單位須注意,根據《防止賄賂條例》(香港法例第201章),任何人士如未經香港資訊及通訊科技獎督導委員會許可,向任何參與該獎項事務的工作人員提供任何利益,作為該工作人員作出任何以其工作身分而作的作為的報酬或誘因,或作為與申請該獎時給予任何優待或提供任何協助的報酬或誘因,即屬違法。
  3. 為避免利益衝突或任何有關利益衝突的嫌疑,香港資訊及通訊科技獎贊助商的參賽申請將不會被接納。
  4. 如有任何爭議,主辦單位保留最終決定權,參賽者不得異議。

組別一:小學

參賽者必須為本地認可的全日制小學學生(2017至2018學年內的小一至小六學生)。每名參賽者須得到學校 / 培訓學校 / 其他教育院校(ICT老師或校長)的簽名支持。參賽者可以個人或小組方式提交作品,而小組人數不可多於6人。

組別二:初中

參賽者必須為本地認可的全日制中學學生(2017至2018學年內的中一至中三學生)。每名參賽者須得到學校 / 培訓學校 / 其他教育院校(ICT老師或校長)的簽名支持。參賽者可以個人或小組方式提交作品,而小組人數不可多於6人。

 

組別三:高中

參賽者必須為本地認可的全日制中學學生(2017至2018學年內的中四至中六學生)。每名參賽者須得到學校 / 培訓學校 / 其他教育院校(ICT老師或校長)的簽名支持。參賽者可以個人或小組方式提交作品,而小組人數不可多於6人。

 

組別四:大專或以上

參賽者必須為本地認可的全日制大專或大學生(高級文憑、副學士、學士、碩士和博士學位),包括2017-2018學年畢業之學生。參賽者可以個人或小組方式提交作品,而小組人數不可多於6人。參賽之作品必須在香港的大學或學院草擬、製作、監督及完成。該研究報告亦必須為至少一個院校專業課程中的研究專案,並得到導師指導他們在相關領域的研究。
