2025年第七屆大灣區STEAM卓越奬 (香港)


背景

大灣區STEAM卓越獎(香港)由香港新興科技教育協會(HKNETEA)自2019年起舉辦,比賽目的旨在提高學生的創造力和創新能力,表彰年輕STEAM(科學、技術、工程、藝術和數學)學生的努力,同時表揚學校和教師的傑出工作和對STEAM教育的奉獻和承諾。

學生可以選擇以個人或不超過 5 人的小組形式參加。


接受國內學校學生參加,學生可選擇獨立參與或經學校提名參與。




一般資格要求


建議學生了解個人資料私隱專員公署頒布的最佳做法和以個案為基礎的經驗。


如有任何爭議,主辦單位保留最終決定權,並對各方均有約束力。



幼稚園組 (以個人身分參加)

繪畫賽:參賽者必須為本地認可的幼稚園學生(2024至2025學年內的K1 至K3學生)。參賽者可以個人提交繪畫作品。


填色賽:參賽者必須為本地認可的幼稚園學生(2024至2025學年內的K1 至K3學生)。參賽者可以個人提交填色作品。提交一張黑白線描頁面,用各種繪畫工具如蠟筆、色鉛筆或馬克筆著色的競賽。 比賽的目標是展示參賽者的創造力、藝術技巧和對細節的關注,透過為提供的圖像添加顏色來營造生動的效果。 (這裡將圖頁供下載 – 請選一個) 。




小學組

開放給全日制香港小學生(小一至小六,2024-2025學年)。參賽作品可以由個人或不超過五名學生的小組進行。提交作品(*)可以是400字論文、視頻短片或PPT的形式。(免付行政費)


中學組

開放給全日制香港中學生(中一至中六,2024-2025學年)。參賽作品(*)可以由個人或不超過五名學生的小組進行。提交作品(*)可以是800字的論文、視頻短片或PPT的形式。(免付行政費)


大專大學組

開放給本地註冊職業/大專院校學生(高級文憑、副學士及學士學位),包括2024-2025學年畢業生申請者。也歡迎非本地學生。參賽作品可以由個人或不超過五名學生的小組進行。提交作品(*)內容可以是1500字的論文、視頻短片或PPT的形式。(免付行政費)


研究生組

課程須由本地註冊大專學生進行,亦歡迎非本地學生(碩士及博士),包括2024-2025學年畢業生申請。參賽作品可以由個人或不超過五名學生的小組進行。提交作品(*)內容可以是2000字的論文、視頻短片或PPT的形式。(免付行政費)

(*)科普視頻的提交作品分為三個子類別: a) 科學探究紀錄片、b) 科學微電影、c) 科普動畫。科普視頻的獲獎者將有機會被提名參加中國青少年科學影像節。


a) 科學探究紀錄片作品 : 以真實的科學探究過程為內核,以科學方法和視角詮釋科學內容,不能虛構,並能以藝術的影視手段展現,引發人們對科學的思考。(片長 = 4-8 分鐘)


b) 科學微電影:創作具有科學價值的劇情故事,要具備時間、地點、人物、主題和故事情節等要素,注重劇本的創作,使講述的故事完整、生動,具有較高的觀賞性。(片長 = 4-8 分鐘)


c) 科普動畫:以簡約、誇張、幽默的手法,圍繞著一個生活中的科學現像或抽象的科學知識,透過生動的情節用動畫的方式表現出來。(片長 = 2-4 分鐘)


此外,更設有最積極參與學校、十佳STEAM教師及十佳STEAM學校以表彰教師和學校的努力。十佳STEAM教師獎項對學生組別的所有教師開放參與,而十佳STEAM學校獎項則專為小學和中學設立。參與的學校可以指定一名STEAM教師或一組STEAM教師參加比賽。



最積極參與學校: 旨在表彰致力為學生提供機會發展技能、培養創新文化以及積極參與 STEAM 競賽和項目的學校。


十佳STEAM教師: 在加強教學實踐,促進專業發展,促進將STEAM融入課堂的創新方法,指導開發準確衡量學生對STEAM學科理解和技能的評估方法,並採取包容性教學實踐,以適應學生的需求。


十佳STEAM學校: 在鼓勵學校培養學生的跨學科學習、創造力、創新能力、解決問題的能力,並激勵學生運用他們的STEAM知識和技能,以加深對STEAM的重要性及其對社會的影響的認識。


獲獎者(學校/教師) 將被邀請參加我們的各種活動,為 STEAM 教育的持續發展和創新創造一個支持性的環境!



The 7th Greater Bay Area STEM Excellence Award 2025 (HKSAR)

Background

The Greater Bay Area STEAM Excellence Award (HKSAR) has been organized by Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association (HKNETEA) since 2019 with the objective to enhance students’ creativity and innovation, and recognise young STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) talents for their efforts, while recognizing the dedication of schools and teachers for their outstanding work and commitment to STEAM education.


Why STEAM Excellence Award ?


  • Recognition of people leading the way in science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM)

  • Inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers

  • Opportunities for networking and forming business and research alliances amongst participants, including other industry representatives, academics and teachers

  • A platform for participants to benchmark their products and services

  • A showcase of success stories' for Hong Kong vendors that are developing innovative STEM research outcomes

  • Media exposure for products, participating firms and individuals


There are eight categories under the 7th Greater Bay Area STEAM Excellence Award 2025 (HKSAR):

Students can choose to participate in either individual or small groups of no more than five persons. 


Students from mainland schools are welcome to participate. Students can choose to participate independently or be nominated by their school.



General Eligibility Requirements


Applicants are advised to be aware of the best practice and case-based experience as promulgated by the Office of Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data. 


In case of any dispute, the decision of the organiser will be final and binding on all parties concerned.



Kindergartens Stream (Individual entry)

Kindergartens - Drawing

It is open for Hong Kong Kindergarten school students (K1 – K3, academic year from 2024-2025). Projects can be conducted by individuals. Submission can be in the form of drawings.


Kindergartens - Coloring

It is open for Hong Kong Kindergarten school students (K1 – K3, academic year from 2024-2025). Projects can be conducted by individuals. Submission is in the form of a black-and-white line drawing page filling in with colors using various coloring materials such as crayons, colored pencils, or markers. The objective of the contest is to showcase creativity, artistic skills, and attention to detail in the coloring of the provided image. (Coloring pages are here for download pick one please)



Primary School Stream

It is open for full time Hong Kong primary school students (P.1 – P.6, academic year from 2024-2025). Projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students. Submission (*) can be in the form of an essay of 400 words, short video or a PPT.  (Administration Fee : Free)



Secondary School Stream

It is open for full time Hong Kong secondary school students (F.1 – F.6, academic year from 2024-2025). Projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students. Submission (*) can be in the form of an essay of 800 words, short video or a PPT. (Administration Fee : Free)


Tertiary Stream

It is open for local registered vocational / tertiary institution students (Higher Diploma, Associate Degree and Bachelor), including the applicants who are graduates in the academic year 2024-2025. Non-local students are also welcome. Projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students. Submission (*) can be in the form of an essay of 1,500 words, short video or a PPT. (Administration Fee : Free of Charge)


Postgraduate Stream

The projects should be conducted by local registered tertiary institution students, Non-local students are also welcome (Master and PhD), including the applicants who are graduates in the academic year 2024-2025. Projects can be conducted by an individual or a group of no more than six students. Submission (*) can be in the form of an essay of 2,000 words, short video or a PPT. (Administration Fee : Free of Charge)

(*) For Science Video, submitted works are divided into three sub-categories: a) scientific exploration documentary, b) scientific micro film, and c) popular science animation. Winners in this category will have the opportunity to be nominated to join The China Adolescents Science Video Festival.


a) Scientific Exploration Documentary : The work is based on real scientific exploration processes, interpreting scientific content through scientific methods and perspectives. It should not be fictional and should be presented through artistic audiovisual means, stimulating people’s thinking about science. (Length 4-8 minutes)


b) Scientific Micro Film:Creating a narrative story with scientific value requires elements such as time, place, characters, themes, and plot. It emphasizes the creation of a script to make the storytelling complete, vivid, and highly engaging. (Length 4-8 minutes)


c) Popular Science Animation:Use simple, exaggerated, and humorous techniques to revolve around a scientific phenomenon or abstract scientific knowledge in everyday life, presenting it through lively animated scenarios. (Length 4-8 minutes)



In addition, there are Best Participating Schools, Top 10 STEAM Teacher and Top 10 STEAM School awards to recognise efforts by teachers and schools.


Top 10 STEAM Teachers is open to teachers from all four streams, while Top 10 STEAM Schools is designated for primary and secondary schools. Participating schools can nominate a STEAM teacher or a team of STEAM teachers to represent them in the competition.



Best Participating Schools is to recognize schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to STEAM education, provide opportunities for students to develop their skills, and foster a culture of innovation and participate in STEAM competition and projects.


Top 10 STEAM Teachers is to enhance teaching practices, foster professional development, and promote innovative approaches to integrating STEAM in the classroom, provide guidance on developing assessment methods that accurately measure students' understanding and skills in STEAM disciplines,  and adopt inclusive teaching practices that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students have access to high-quality STEAM education.


Top 10 STEAM Schools is to encourage schools to foster interdisciplinary learning, creativity, innovation, problem-solving skills among students, and inspire students to apply their STEAM knowledge and skills to foster a greater appreciation for the importance of STEAM and its impact on society. 


Winners (Schools & Teachers) will be invited to join our various activities to create a supportive environment for continued growth and innovation in STEAM education!

(*) For Science Video, submitted works are divided into three sub-categories: a) scientific exploration documentary, b) scientific micro film, and c) popular science animation. Winners in this category will have the opportunity to be nominated to join The China Adolescents Science Video Festival.


a) Scientific Exploration Documentary : The work is based on real scientific exploration processes, interpreting scientific content through scientific methods and perspectives. It should not be fictional and should be presented through artistic audiovisual means, stimulating people’s thinking about science. (Length 4-8 minutes)


b) Scientific Micro Film:Creating a narrative story with scientific value requires elements such as time, place, characters, themes, and plot. It emphasizes the creation of a script to make the storytelling complete, vivid, and highly engaging. (Length 4-8 minutes)


c) Popular Science Animation:Use simple, exaggerated, and humorous techniques to revolve around a scientific phenomenon or abstract scientific knowledge in everyday life, presenting it through lively animated scenarios. (Length 4-8 minutes)



In addition, there are Best Participating Schools, Top 10 STEAM Teacher and Top 10 STEAM School awards to recognise efforts by teachers and schools.


Top 10 STEAM Teachers is open to teachers from all four streams, while Top 10 STEAM Schools is designated for primary and secondary schools. Participating schools can nominate a STEAM teacher or a team of STEAM teachers to represent them in the competition.



Best Participating Schools is to recognize schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to STEAM education, provide opportunities for students to develop their skills, and foster a culture of innovation and participate in STEAM competition and projects.


Top 10 STEAM Teachers is to enhance teaching practices, foster professional development, and promote innovative approaches to integrating STEAM in the classroom, provide guidance on developing assessment methods that accurately measure students' understanding and skills in STEAM disciplines,  and adopt inclusive teaching practices that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students have access to high-quality STEAM education.


Top 10 STEAM Schools is to encourage schools to foster interdisciplinary learning, creativity, innovation, problem-solving skills among students, and inspire students to apply their STEAM knowledge and skills to foster a greater appreciation for the importance of STEAM and its impact on society. 


Winners (Schools & Teachers) will be invited to join our various activities to create a supportive environment for continued growth and innovation in STEAM education!
